Maria grew up in the woods on the river in NC beside open fields.  She has always lived barefoot creating, expressing & listening to music with others.  She became a florist in CO through the roving turns of life & naturally expanded on the path to teach.

.  In 2021, Maria received her 250 hour certificate with Satsang Yoga in Charleston & trains privately with

Maria's classes are a multi-disciplinary merge of exercises.  She is known for being thoughtful, practical, artistic & playful.  She structures based on well-established methods, mobility & the subtle body with surprising space for fun improvisation.  Maria's zest for music as a former classical & ragtime pianist is an extension of her spirited heart & you will leave feeling lighter & brighter.

Maria resides in Charleston, SC with a frequency to her homeland in NC.  Her fluidity off & on the mat shine but her roots remain solid wherever she lands.  When she's not being a mom or hanging with her daughter & biggest inspiration or designing flowers, she is dreaming up new concepts, catching live music with close friends, or expanding her professional development with MIT on Sustainability.
